<p>Did anyone have to attend a summer transitional program? If so, is it worth going?</p>
<p>I did not mention that summer transitional program is given by some college to prepare you for the fall.</p>
<p>Rice University requires attendance of O-Week, a sort of transition week that directly precedes the first week of school. If this is similar to the programs you're referencing, I would say they are very worth attending.</p>
