Summer Vacation - What's on Your Agenda?

hahaha didn't we talk about the sushi on the uc decisions date thread.

ahhh, we talked about everything on that thread. We need another never-ending say whatever you want thread in the CC forum...It helps release peoples tensions which cuts down on flaming :)

^
Exactly. Especially since school is about to start up again. I need a place where I can "get away" and just gossip about whatever.

On another note, I have orientation this Friday. What exactly do I need to bring?

^You're going to UCLA right nikkei?

We can make a countdown until UCLA (late Sept?) and UCB (Aug 28) start (which is where all the UC transfers pretty much ended up) I know we all be ancy haha.

nevermind...

I wanted to work. So I work with my dad. During fall I will take my vacation and do some hunting with my friends. It will be my first time ever hunting but I am really excited.

I will also try to go camping at some point while were on summer vacation.

why the hell is hunting exciting? if your not using most of the animal's body parts then you are one sick individual lol i hate hunters who do it for fun.

@&#@&(!!!
All of my classes are full!
How the h*** am I going to graduate on time?!
I knew I should have gone to UCI...

^You shoulda gone to Cal! We need more CCers there.

I'm enrolled in three classes, but I'm waitlisted for calculus and a philosophy class. Bleh.

IloveCalifornia...

we eat the meat. The skin is made into a mount and wall trophy. And hunting is something that you cannot understand until you have tried it.

Some people out in more rural areas do not obtain meat from the grocery store. Thats for people who are not resourceful enough to obtain meat on their own. Why not hunt your meat yourself instead of letting someone else do it for you?

Hey, sarcasmgirl!
Long time, no see!

I just enrolled into 3 classes today!
I'm actually taking 2 history classes and 1 geography class.
The problem is, I'm a political science major!

Yah, same to you! Japan sounds very fun and I'm rather envious. :(

Oh, is that good or bad? Hopefully those classes are things that interest you or fulfill some kind of requirement...?

Some good news though: got roommate info and moved up on my waitlisted classes! Woohoo. :) :) :)

Yeah, poli sci majors have to fulfill an Allied Field section where we get to choose 4 courses from about 8 pre-selected fields in the social sciences.

Does anybody know where I can find information on volunteering for the summer before UCLA starts? How about clubs (although, I heard that clubs are hard to come by in the summer)?
