Is anyone here applying to Summer Ventures (SVSM) NC?

Hey nate42, I’m a sophomore this year and I am considering applying to Summer Ventures. I’ve been reading around the forum and saw that you went to the program last year and seemed to have a good time. I actually have a couple of questions that I was hoping that you could answer if you don’t mind. The first is: at camp, are you taking multiple “courses” out of the topics that they offer, or do you just take one the whole time? What do these classes really consist of? This research project, how much of your time is spent working on it? Does the project have to be related to the topic(s) that you signed up for? How soon do you have to pick the subject of your project, and what does it really entail? Also, did you or somebody you knew at camp take computer science or engineering? What did you or they think about them, interesting, boring, hard, easy? Thanks for answering in advance, I really would appreciate some more info before I start filling out an application.

I’m applying!

I got in!!! Yay!
