Summer Volunteer Abroad?

<p>Recently I've been looking for a volunteer-abroad program that'll maybe last a few weeks in the summer. I have found one program that looks pretty good:</p>

<p>Volunteers</a> for Peace | Volunteer Abroad | International Service Projects</p>

<p>But I'm not sure if that's the one-- mostly because it only offers locations in Germany and France, plus Iceland. It would have been nice if China (I'm learning the language) was one of the options.</p>

<p>So does anyone know of a good summer volunteer-abroad program that maybe offers China as an option? (I'm a sophomore!)</p>

<p>(Plus, is vfp a trustworthy organization?)</p>

<p>I’d like to suggest Global Volunteers in China. You can volunteer for 2 weeks up to 24 weeks and teach conversational English to college students. You can also care for disabled kids for part of the summer.
