And so soon she is gone! Left today to start captains practices. Moves in to her own place next week. It is now up to her. I miss her terribly already but will see her next week when we bring the rest of her stuff.

Hang in there, NM. I hope she’ll take a minute to check in with you. My friends know, I don’t accept cell phone calls in the middle of a conversation, except from one person From everything you’ve said, your daughter is ready for this…

Good luck to your daughter, NM! And you, as you adjust. I can’t even bear to think about next year, especially as I’m having so much fun taking DS to talk to different college coaches.

Update: Rocky entry but things are improving. Workouts paid off with a starting position in first exhibition game. Looking forward to the official season!

Yay, NM!!!

Are you going to get to see her play this fall?

Yes. Heading OOS again this weekend…two games, two different states, long car trips!!! BIG game on Friday. Should let her know where she stands for playing time.

Very exciting! I’m so glad you’re getting a chance to see her play. I’m already feeling a little wistful that D’s last high school season is about to begin. What will I do next year???
