I've searched past threads, but no one seems to be able to tell us what exactly goes on at Sunday at the Square. Can anybody who attended in the past tell us what goes on? Is it a formal, business casual, or casual event? Is it our chance to get to meet our possible future classmates or are we simply going to be talked at the whole time? I just want to know whether people got anything out of it.

I'm interested too. I'm going to pay for the hotel room in NYU myself, so I want to know if the $150 is worth it. I am 90% sure I'm going to go anyway, because I really want to show interest and show them that NYU is my TOP TOP TOP TOP choice. I need money :-P.

Yeah - I got into Saturday at the Square for Tisch... but what actually happens at this event?
Anyone know?

For more info...go to the Musical Theatre major main thread and then click on NYU/Tisch. There are many posts from a mom named soozievt, whose daughter goes to the Cap21 studio at Tisch. She has posted tons of information about NYU and specifically about this event. There are also a few posts from an NYU rep, who responded to some questions in the past few days, not all are related to MT (musical theatre). It's basically a day where NYU tries to convince you that it's the right place for you to go before you make your final decision.
We're going.
