sunday in the square/university day

<p>ah, no one from long island received theirs yet? there's still hope!</p>

<p>Is Saturday in the Sqaure (Tisch's invite day) based on academics only? Or based on talent AND academics? Cause if it's just academics I am FOR SURE not getting one... haha</p>

<p>I'm in california, applying to Cap 21, with second choice Playwrights Horizons.</p>

NJ. He applied to CAS.</p>

<p>i just got my invite today...i live in central ohio. i didn't know if it was equivalent to a likely letter, but now i see that it is! awesome!</p>

<p>I hope you guys are right and that this IS akin to a likely letter.</p>

I'm from Alabama and applied to the Gallatin school.
GPA: 4.01 W (with a few Bs and Cs)
SATs: 2240
SAT IIs: 750 avg
Extracurriculars: Above average to good.</p>

<p>Woot, got one! I didn't even know these things existed so it was a nice surprise for me.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6-something UW
SAT: 2260
SAT II: 790, 650
EC: Student Council president, some others</p>

<p>My counselor called NYU and they said those who recieve it ARE officially ACCEPTED and the ones they really want. Congrats to all including myself! ":)</p>

<p>dont stress about it, you can still be accepted, and i got a 2140 on the SAT and got my invitation for stern today</p>
