Sunday Restaurants

I’m visiting my daughter for a couple of days and am (as usual) eating my way through T-Town.

We had brunch at FIG yesterday and immediately noticed that many of the diners were enjoying mimosas and other adult beverages. Yesterday was the first day of the Sunday alcohol sales.

Chuck’s had a big banner out front saying they are now open on Sunday. That’s where we had dinner last night, and I felt obliged to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal. We went to DePalmas for lunch and they had a sign posted saying they will be open on Sunday starting the last weekend in March.

It definitely seems like the Sunday sales is viewed as a positive by the existing restaurants. Hopefully, as has been speculated on this forum, it will also make Tuscaloosa more enticing to other restaurants and hotels!

Good to hear that DePalma’s will soon be open on Sundays!

This is great news! it is always good to have additional restaurants to choose from, even if you don’t drink, you benefit.
