Sunday

Could we reopen the discussion about Sunday's? I would like to go down and do the whole church and bring a lunch thing. What can you tell me about how much time the Plebe's really get. Isn't Sunday kind of a catch up day for them? Laundry, Studying etc. I believe there is also football practice. I wouldn't want to make things more difficult for my son by showing up. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Momma - we drove up last year on 2 occasions for the Chapel service and lunch. Each time, we brought a huge picnic lunch to share with son and friends on the deck at the Waterfront. Son put out word ahead of time to fellow PCs. We would hang out there with the PCs for 2-3 hours and it was a blast to hear their stories and witness the strength of their new friendships. PCs would float in and out of our picnic depending upon their responsibilities that day. If they have to study, they would leave with our blessings and that includes our own son. At some point during the visit, we would take a walk with son over to the Museum for some one-on-one too. I hold the fondest memories of these afternoon excursions and recommend it highly.

PS There were football players lunching with us too, but they were amongst those who had to leave early for practice.

Thank you! I do look forward to it I just didn't know if it would put more pressure on him. I'm sure there is enough of that without Mom tugging on him for time.
