<p>Hi,
I'm debating between the sociology programs in suny Albany, suny Binghamton, and umass Amherst for next fall.</p>
<p>Suny Albany was ranked the highest among the 3 in US news rankings, but Binghamton seems to be an overall better school. I'm also not sure how much I should or shouldn't rely on rankings.</p>
<p>Which school in your opinion has the best sociology program, and why?</p>

<p>I go to Binghamton and love it but I have to admit we are definitely not known for our sociology program. I do believe we are the best ranked of the three schools in general, but sociology isn’t really talked about that much. I’ve heard of a lot of people disliking the professors, too.</p>
