I've recently been accepted to SUNY Albany and SUNY Buffalo, but I don't know which one is a better school.

I want my career path to be based around either law/politics or medicine. Which one is a better school (educationally, better living environment, etc)?

I live in the midwest so I don't even know what it's like to live in NY :-/ Can anyone help me?

And btw, I've been accepted to the SUNY Albany Honors College...if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

My daughter likes Albany over Buffalo because it is closer to NYC and the average temperature is warmer. A lot of kids from her hs go to Buffalo and love it though. Some people think Buffalo is more like a midwestern state school. It would be great if you could visit both campuses before making a decision.

i went to albany my freshhman semester and although the social life is very fun ton of bars and parties the campus and classes are miserable, i had so many classes where my grades were totally based off the midterm and final and the teachers didnt seem to care at all. go to buffalo
