Merit for instate students at Bing is very very rare speaking from personal experience as my sister goes to Bing. I have also not heard back yet and my stats are above average.

I don’t have any siblings at bing but just out of curiosity do you get like a sibling discount since your sister goes there? I know of a lot of schools that do this Im just curious if you’ve heard of bing doing it?

I don’t think so. My son is Class of 2021 and will begin Pharmacy school there in August. On the app it asks if you’re a legacy but not if you have siblings that attend. I know merit scholarships are extremely unlikely
extremely. I think with the kinds of kids they are accepting and the fact it’s a SUNY “value,” they don’t need to.

Each school is basically its own college and decisions are based on the application to the school they applied to. It’s pretty tricky to even switch majors if it’s to another “school.”

@mcolee check the portal at about 7:15. The email sometimes takes longer to come, my daughter didn’t get the email until an hour and a half later.

@mlk75 and @Classof21student it seems the decisions come out on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, so if nothing today only a couple more days. The waiting was torture my my daughter.

How many are still waiting for a decision applied without scores- test optional? Is that why we are the last wave? Applied 10/2 and waiting.

i submitted a score and have not received any portal changes. A lot of test optional people did get their decisions already, so I don’t think that’s it.

Thanks. I wish they would have just released all at once or at least in order of application. This is so hard especially when you know others who applied much later than you have decisions.

Us too. Applied 10/14 with no scores and still waiting. Even had a portal change.

I applied in September no test scores to Harpur. Have yet to hear back and yet to see a portal change
