S24 has his app ready to go, high stats out of state, will be applying to Harpur as music major BA, hoping for merit (and the tiny chance of honors).
Is there any benefit to putting the application through now vs waiting to see if there is a free application week later this month?
Well, forget this question, they just announced the free application period, gonna wait until Oct 16.

Just wondering if the portal ever changes to show it is complete or just check marks next to the two documents they require. S24’s portal just has that they received transcript and SAT scores, that is it. Everything has been sent by common app and the school.

My D - her portal never specifically said her application was complete - only the green check marks.

She got an email saying there was an update to her application and to log in to her portal.

There was also an email to school account through Scoir that an update to application had been made. Scoir is very big on sending out emails for every.little.thing.
