which one is better for business? which one gives more experience or internship opportunities? better connections?

I have the same problem! I wish more people would give insight, May 1st is going to come fast! :/

Which is better depends on your opinion
Binghamton is ranked in Bloomberg’s top 100 business schools at the 30s i think, Baruch isn’t on the list at all
Binghamton’s reputation and connections attracts a lot of recruiters to their SOM
Baruch i don’t know too much about but it has a major advantage in that it is right in the middle of NYC, its hard for companies to ignore when its literally a couple of blocks away

they both are solid schools so you can’t really go wrong with whatever you choose

I currently attend CUNY Baruch as a freshmen and planned on transferring to Binghamton. However, I changed my decision. Sure, the education at Baruch isn’t that great honestly, but for the tuition… it’s worth it. If you live in NYC, you’re in luck since you can hold a part time job/internship at Baruch during the school year. You can’t do that in Bing. The career service center is great! It landed me 4 job interviews in one school year and I’m only a freshmen. If you are going for accounting, it’s pointless…The Big 4 recruits at both schools, so there is no point in wasting your money at Bing. For finance, they are the same…backoffice positions at Investment Banks.
