Hi! I got into SOM about 45 minutes ago (I never got an email, but I have been checking my application status nonstop over the past week). I wanted to say thank you to all of the people who have posted about their stats and acceptances on this thread. It gave me a lot of needed reassurance and I thought that I would return the favor. My stats are below (I’m in-state, live in NYC, and applied on 10/31 at 7 AM):
SAT: 1410 (22 on the essay)
SAT II: US History (730) and Math I (740)
GPA: 98 weighted
Course load: All honors/AP classes (AP World Sophomore year, AP US History and AP Lang Junior Year, and I’m currently taking AP Physics 2, AP Calculus BC, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Lit)
Extra Curricular Activities/Volunteering: Jazz Band (Section Leader), Jazz Combo (Section Leader), Symphony Orchestra (Section Leader), All City High School Orchestra, Physics Club (Vice President), National Honor Society (Secretary), Quiz Bowl Team, and I volunteer at a law office and at a nursing home.

I don’t think it’s geographical because kids in my school have been finding out every night. Some of my friends found out last Tuesday and some found out tonight.
My D got accepted tonight into Decker!
My son was accepted tonight to Harper College at Binghamton University! He never got an email but we checked his status and his acceptance letter was there. 31 ACT, 93 average, IB candidate, Honor Society, Music ensembles for all four years, volunteer work, clubs . . . Good luck to all of those who are waiting to hear. I am glad we read that some people did not get emails and we checked the status. Thanks for everyone’s input over the past several weeks!
