@lain13 Which program did you apply to? Looking at your stats you look to be in good standing for being accepted to Harpur College. Not so sure about SOM or Watson.

Accepted EA Watson ! SAT 1430 (650,780); UW 3.70; W 4.0; lots of clubs & honor societies. Best of luck to everyone. This is a 1st class SUNY school, especially the specialized schools.
Deferred to Harpur with a 1270 SAT and 92 average 
My GPA is pretty low but I took around 10 AP classes… I’m surprised
@anxiousapp34 From looking at this thread, I think a lot of people with a 1100-1300 SAT are getting deferred. Rigor of classes matters of course, but admissions is all numbers based: the golden ticket is a high SAT (+1400) and a high GPA (+96/+3.7).
I’ve realized that everyone who was admitted EA has pretty high stats… Truthfully this whole process has made me reconsider my interest in the school

@asdfadds You look like you’re in pretty good shape to get accepted to Harpur. I don’t know if you’ll be deferred to RD though
@anxiousapp34 I already got accepted to SOM, but I remember anxiously fretting over my stats and whether I’d get admitted to Bing since August. I feel like last year’s admitted people had super high stats and that’s why I felt anxious. I saw some people with really high GPA’s and standardardizrd test scores get waitlisted, and because my stats were lower than those people, I wasn’t reallt confident. Anywho, maybe Bing will be generous in their RD pool, so don’t lose hope!
@lain13 i applied to decker as well! as much as I love the school, it would be so much more convenient if Bing had their own hospital- but I’ll take what I can get.
Haven’t heard anything back yet. starting to get nervous, all my friends have heard back already. Expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
