It was not included in the the letter. He received 2 different correspondences. My D20 applied 2 years ago with similar stats. She chose to attend a small Nescac but her acceptance came in Dec 2019 (similar to my son) with a Presidential Scholarship and Honors College notification several weeks later.
I don’t have the full details with me but I recall you need to maintain a min GPA and renewed annually.
My deferral letter, last paragraph…
“We do not require any additional materials from you or your counselor at this time. We encourage you to continue to keep Binghamton at the top of your list, and we thank you for your patience.”
I guess, if they want anything, they’ll let us know.
This is late but I got deferred from EA and applied through College of Engineering. 4/4 GPA, ton of extracurriculars, 4 AP Classes, 6 Dual enrollment classes, no test scores submitted
When does Binghamton notify about Honors? Also, my son applied to CS major but his decision letter justs says “Watson school …” without mentioning the major. Is it always the case or does it mean he was not directly admitted into CS?

Planning to go to the Binghamton Admitted Student Open House next month. Does anyone know if there is an itinerary? Is it meant just for the student or is it something all family members can participate in?
