SUNY Binghamton or Skidmore?

Hey, So i've accepted to both schools,and i'm debating over there two. I hear Binghamton has great reputation and is consider the public "ivy"school. But i also like skidmore for its smaller class sizes and first year experience program for freshmen. I want to major in English,and also want to have a good social life. What do you recommend for me?

Hey! I recently went to visit SUNY Binghamton, and I loved it. The class sizes are slightly large, but the teachers are good. Also, the social life is very diverse. There’s always something to do, on or off campus. There’s also many organizations, so you can get involved in anything you’re interested in.
The rooms were really nice in the hall I visited. The food’s pretty good too. :)

Cost!

Skidmore----> greater than $50,000/yr total costs
Binghamton---->around $18,000-$19,000/yr total costs

Consider the bottom line costs at each school. Then, figure out if you’re able or willing to spend the difference for what you like at Skidmore over what you’d be getting at Binghamton.

Well i’m actually getting a full ride for each school because i’m in the opportunity program for both schools.

Then I would say Skidmore, but I don’t know too much about SUNY Binghamton. I really loved Skidmore’s campus and learning environment when I visited, and it was my second choice school.

I have been accepted into Binghamton Scholars Program, how difficult is the program can anyone share info on the advantages of the Scholars program besides what is published by Binghamton Univ.

Howe do you know about Skidmore already?? I thought decisions weren’t coming out until late March.
