Suny Binghamton VS Cuny Baruch for undergraduate business (Accounting or Finance)

While Bing has a better overall reputation, is there a difference in the quality for their business program. Baruch has a good business program for business, and its location in NYC is great. However would a for example 3.5 GPA from Bing look that much better than a 3.5 GPA from Baruch. Which school would look better when applying to graduate school. Is there a big difference in the quality of the actual business programs between the two.

Also i live in NYC, so if i were to go to Bing then i would have to move, and it would be an adjustment moving from the city to a more rural area. That the area around Bing is boring, and you are mainly limited to school activities. Is any of this true.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, bing is slightly better than Baruch if you get into SoM. If you don’t get into SoM (it’s pretty competitive) you are way, way better off going to Baruch especially if you want to go into business. Anyway, Baruch is cheaper and it is easier to intern while going to school. Binghamton is in a small city/rural area and it’s harder to find an internship there. Also, there is less to do especially if you live in new york already. The activities are limited although there are clubs that put on activities (the asian students club, the black student union, there is also chabad or hillel for jewish students). The downtown “drinking” scene is imo lame so I wouldn’t really bother with that.
