Okay since I don't have the money for NYU and I don't feel like having to pay back loans after undergrad for an education I can get from Baruch or Binghamton, I wanna know what you guys think of Binghamtons Business Programs vs. Baruchs Business Programs :: Business Administration/Management.

I'd wanna go to NYU for graduate school but not for undergrad cause it's a waste of money and a rip off. Anyway, which would you guys choose and why... thanks!

I attended Baruch many moons ago. Baruch was reputed to always have a better business program that Binghamton. Baruch also had a verry strong and large alumni base to support good job opportunities. Binghamton was better known for liberal arts. Baruch is also much cheaper. However, Baruch is a commuter school while Binghamton is not.

Never underestimate the strong alumni base and the opportunity for internships in NYC while attending Baruch. I am going to agree with Taxguy on this one. I think Baruch is the better choice. PS-- My d's boyfriend will be starting his freshmen year at Baruch on Monday. He will be commuting from Long Island each day. He's a strong student and could have gone elsewhere (including Bing.) but thought the contacts he would make by going to school in NYC and by attending Baruch would be invaluable. And I agree with you-save the money for grad school.

if you want business, i would go with baruch. it's in a great location, has great alumni network, great reputation, GREAT price etc. binghamton is in the middle of nowhere (sorry if you love it but that's the reality) and can't possibly give you as many opportunities as baruch can. binghamton is a great school too but if you're looking for diversity and a city life, baruch is the place to go.
