Suny Binghamton

Any thoughts on the Binghamton school of management?

How does this compare to Bentley, Bryant, and Delaware?

I’ve heard it’s pretty good.

I’ll have more info later in the year, but we know a terrific freshman who has run a successful business for several years in high school. He chose Binghamton specifically for the strength of their business program. (He didn’t apply to any of the other three you mention afaik).

in business week’s 2012 ranking, binghamton was #59. bryant was #124, bentley #29 and delaware #60. [Best Undergraduate B-Schools Ranking History - Businessweek](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?) which also shows the school’s rankings over time.

binghamton’s school of management has an excellent reputation and is the most difficult of the separate colleges within binghamton university to get admitted to.

My Son just started at Binghamton this week. We are from NJ and he got into 6 other schools. When he found out that he had gotten into the SOM, that clinched it for him. No other school had as good of a Business program. So far he Loves the school, the people he has met and today was the first day of classes. We are OOS so this is not the bargain it is for in state students but this was his number one choice.

Binghamton is great for business. It’s accounting program is top-notch.

Agreed with above posts.

Binghamton has a great reputation for it’s business program. Of the kids we know who are recent grads of it’s programs, they are either employed or in grad school (Columbia). I think it has very good recruiting for it’s seniors seeking jobs. (Look into that and internship fairs as well.)

While UD is a popular school for LIers, I don’t know how highly regarded their business program is.

Bings business school is competitive. My friends son was rejected from Bing, but accepted at Michigan.

For the cost and reputation, pick Bing for business over the others you listed.
