Does anyone have any experience with this school? Thank you.

My son and daughter in law both graduated from SUNY Brockport. My son is a elementary teacher and my daughter in law works in marketing. My son went back at night and completed his masters work in education last year, He is actually a History Major with an education minor as that is the way it is done here in NY.

It is a very nice campus located about 20 miles I would guess west of Rochester. It is small in size, but has very good facilities. The town of Brockport adjacent to the school is also small but has a number of services for the kids and the usual eating places, laundermats ect. My son and his wife transfered there for their final three years. A minimum GPA of 3.0 was required to be admitted into the upper division Teaching program, he did his student teaching at another school district about 5 miles from Brockport. And recieved his certification there. They have good sports and the student body is very active in supporting them.

Is there anything specific you would like to know?

Ray, Thank you. I did send an email to you with some more specific questions. This was very helpful.
