I dont agree…I know about Rutgers (my cousins went there) and I lived in NJ for quite some time.

While Stony Brook might be a good school, Rutgers (New Brunswick) is an excellent school as well. Especially if you get into Rutgers honors program. The new brunswick/piscataway campus are excellent compared to StonyBrook location. Student life is great, the central NJ location is great, good mix of international students. Nice wide campus, the good thing is there are 4 campuses so it never feels large, Science/Engineering is in Busch campus, which has the CIVET center [Home | Center for Innovative Ventures of Emerging Technologies](http://civet.rutgers.edu/)

And because of so many facilities, it is quite easy to find on-campus placement opportunities.
