I thought these were two different colleges?
State University of New York, at Buffalo, (SUNY Buffalo) and Buffalo State University. I understand there’s some name changes currently. They are both NY state universities.
My daughter attended SUNY Buffalo with 32K students with the main campus in Amherst.
You may want to contact the university admissions office to see if you can add the university to the application.
