I applied for nursing at SUNY Farmingdale and got waitlisted. Is this common? If you got accepted, can you tell me your stats please? These are mine:

SAT: 1770
Rank: Top 20%
Senior Year Course load: AP Lit, AP Bio, AP Micro, AP Calc, College French, Gov, and Gym
Awards/ Honor Societies: NHS, Tri-M, Foreign Language, AP Scholar
Extracurriculars: I volunteer at a hospital, I’m a member in Key Club, Student Council, and Chamber Orchestra.
Location: In-state. NY
It was supposed to be a safe school so I was surprised when I saw Wait listed as my status.
What were your individual scores on each section of the SAT? It seems low for someone taking the rigorous course load that you are.
I’m never good at taking standardized tests. CR and Math are 1220 and W is 550. Did you apply to Farmingdale?

I was looking yesterday at a SUNY web page about direct entry nursing programs and it mentioned that Farmingdale is full for Fall 2016. Maybe because you are such a good candidate, they will offer you a spot if someone declines. Have you applied to any other direct entry nursing programs?
