SUNY financial aid day?

<p>I received an email from SUNY saying that they're holding "Financial Aid Days" at various campuses.</p>

<p>Has anyone ever gone to one of these events?
Is it helpful or just a waste of time?</p>

<p>The school where I used to work had walk-in Fridays for filling out the FAFSA. It was really easy for us to help people complete their forms, as long as they brought their income and asset info!</p>
