SUNY New Paltz Chances?

<p>I'm really interested in attending SUNY New Paltz. My unweighted GPA is about a 3.3 and I got an 1860 on my SAT. As far as extracurriculars, I am board member (hopefully president) of NAHS, photo club, and art club, as well as being a member of the fencing team since my freshman year.</p>

<p>My biggest concern is math. I am taking pre-calc this year, and I'm really struggling with it. I was considering not taking a math course next year, since I have technically taken 4 high school math classes (I live on Long Island, and you can take integrated algerbra in 8th grade). Will this effect me if I decide not to take it?</p>

<p>From what I understand, New Paltz would be a high-match/low-reach for you</p>

<p>I would try to increase your SAT/GPA and you should be fine. Like @creativename150 said, low reach/high match.
