I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the date we get our decisions for New Paltz Early Action. Thanks!

I think it was around Dec.15 when my D heard

Sorry to bump my old thread but has anyone heard anything about this years notification date?

From the application booklet for 2008:

If your application is complete byDecember 1 (Dec. 15 for Stony Brook), thecampus will notify you of its decision byJanuary 1.

Thank you! So I guess I'll hang tight until the 1st :)

My daughter heard today! Accepted!

congrats dramamama...is NP her first choice?

Sadly, no. But it's my first choice! LOL! She really liked Cortland and Ithaca. (Musical Theater major)

How early did your daughter apply and where are you from in New York; are you close to New Paltz; its my number one choice and I am just trying to guesstimate the days till it will come!

I have the same question; I live in Florida and applied around November 1st...I was wondering when I should be expecting some mail? :)
And congrats on your D's acceptance!

i got into NP today! i applied a while ago, probably in either late sept or sometime in octover and i just heard. and i live about 1h 30min from the campus.

good luck!!

Nothing in Schenectady, NY yet

Do tell if there are any updates on New Paltz admissions!

My daughter applied EA in late October. But her counselor sent her transcript/recommendations etc. on Nov.10th. We are about an hour to an hour 15 min south of NP. Many of her classmates got rejection letters before she got her acceptance.

Nothing in the mail today in North Carolina. Admissions told us the letter is in the mail. Uhg - the wait!

D was deferred....is writing letter saying she still wants to go and updating stuff since she first applied...

What were your daughters stats that were deferred?!!?

1230 m/cr; I guess like a 90 average, instate, lots of ECs, not minority.

I see no reason to deffer with those scores; thats crazy!

Glad you think so...hope someone in the admissions office eventually thinks so too...anyway, congrats to all that did get in and best wishes for the haven't-heard-yets...
