<p>Hey guys. I've been accepted into cuny baruch and Suny new paltz. Im looking forward to pursue a career in management. Im stuck in deciding which uni to choose. I hear baruch is pretty good but i also hear that it doesnt have a good social life. :/
Im also considering new paltz because they have a 4+1 program for the bachelors in management and an MBA in one year. Please help.</p>

<p>if college social life is important to you and you want a good, well-rounded “college experience”, then New Paltz would be a better choice (and the 4+1 is good). However Baruch has a high academic reputation for business so if you’re focused on your classes then getting a job, it’d be a better chocie.</p>
<p>I personally went to New Paltz and the you can’t beat the 4+1 deal. As far as social life, New Paltz is better. There are tons of clubs and activities, student positions on campus you can apply for, places in the area you can explore, etc. It is a liberal arts college with a small town feel. More importantly, the business school just got accredited, so it is moving up there. I think in the future New Paltz reputation will either exceed or be on the same level as Baruch’s. </p>
