SUNY Plattsburgh or SUNY Brockport for Nursing

I received acceptance letters/notices from both SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY Brockport. I'm still awaiting on decisions from other colleges that I applied to, but I'm trying to decide which school I would attend between the two SUNYs. I would be attending these school as 'Nursing Intent', and hopefully I'll get into the nursing programs after applying into it.

I heard Plattsburgh had a good nursing program, and people seem to enjoy the students and campus (even though it's in the middle of nowhere.) I don't mind the cold weather or snow, so it's not much of a big issue for me. I'm kind of leaning towards Plattsburgh, however.

If anyone has any experience or is attending one of these schools, please give me advice on which one to choose between these two. Which one is better, and why? How is the academic life, and campus/residence life?

Save money and attend a SUNY unless you get a good scholarship.

Visit both schools as “Fit” for you may not be the same as others. Look at the area, campus, etc, as well as the nursing programs, labs, etc.

Ohtacos- did you see my advice on your previous post about Plattsburgh? Plattsburgh has a freshman direct entry program for nursing which could affect how many people can apply later. Please call or email them as to your chances of getting in as nursing intent, later in you college program (break is almost here, so ask your admission counselor to inquire)
