<p>Does SUNY Purchase have a performance acting or theatre program? I read that the Drama Studies program was none performance based. If so, does it require an audition?</p>
<p>SUNY Purchase has both a BFA program in acting, which is performance based and does require an audition. They also have a BA program, which is a bit more broad. I couldn’t tell you much about that. I will say that their BFA program is very prestigious and only takes 8% of applicants. If it is a school you love though, you can do it!</p>
