SUNY Purchase--Serious Admission Issues/BA Theatre Early Action

Mrgmar, I noticed you wrote that the BA and BFA programs are at capacity. My son applied to both and we haven’t received any notification at all. Am I to assume he didn’t get into either program?

Anyone???

Nothing in today’s mail. The Accepted Student day is to weeks from today. We 're not even sure whether or not we need to plan on going. wish we would at least find out whether she is accepted to the college in a BA program.

Same here. Disappointing

We live down the road from the school, so there should be no excuse to not have gotten it alteady…

We live in California and got our letter on Thursday…

Just called admissions. They said we should be getting noticication any day. Wouldnt give me any specific information, so it doesn’t look good…

:(

Grrr… still nothing. I realize it is probably a NO but it would be nice to put it to rest.

Still waiting here too.

My son got an email today. Wait listed for BA

That’s something! We did not hear anything again today. Congrats on the wait list!!! Fingers crossed!

Someone probably already posted this info, but I just decided to go looking for something on their website:

Admissions/Applying to Purchase

“The majority of our freshman applicants will receive their decisions before the first week in April, depending on when they applied, when their audition and or portfolio review took place, and of course whether the application is complete.”

Thanks. Good luck.

My daughter applied to the BA program by Thanksgiving and we still have not heard.

Wow. Sorry. I would definitely call.

I have yet to find out about both the BFA program and BA program. I got a call back for the BFA, and i find myself feeling like I’m going insane with worry because I have yet to hear anything.

Wow, you got a call back and haven’t been contacted? You would have to at least be accepted in the BA program I would think.

Yup!

Call
