I have, and they’ve been INCREDIBLY cryptic

Sad

You don’t get automatically considered for the BA if you auditioned for BFA; they were two separate applications with separate fees. My daughter got the equiv of a callback (she was filmed) and felt so great and confident about her audition, but had heard nothing, so this past Monday she called and found out she was rejected. She called Garrett Marino and he was able to tell her. He said letters would go out soon.

I’m aware of that. I applied to both.

@sherryjane Sorry to hear that. She applied to both?
I would have assumed she would be In at least the BA program as few people got call backs.

@jsh1952, no she didn’t apply to both - only the BFA. i specifically remember bc we almost sent in the wrong app. the BA took the common app, but the BFA did not, it had a separate/different application.

sherryjane73 - we are in the same boat. My D auditioned during the week of Chicago unifieds, was videotaped and has yet to hear a peep. So frustrating.

I see, so she didn’t want to even consider a BA?

SUNY Purchase wait list, thank you…but…we will pass…NYU Tisch!!!

@josh1952. Congrats!

Thank you!

Waitlisted BA? Or BFA?

Wait list was BA

So I am wondering now, if the BFA Acting was already full, does SUNY Purchase hold auditions even when they have already filled their programs?
