SUNY SB or Drexel

A friend of mine needs to pick between these two for the masters program in Biomedical Engineering. She is leaning towards SUNY SB, but is concerned about the fact that Drexel is a little higher up in the rankings. Which university has a better reputation for engineering as such?
Some other concerns are job scenario after graduation and on campus jobs. Funding is not.
What do you say?

of course it’s Drexel, not to mention engineering is not among the strongest programs in stony brook.

Drexel has a pretty good co-op program and I’m pretty sure its engineering program is better than the one at Stony. Also, it’s in Philadelphia, so I would assume that it’s more lively on the weekends than it is at Stony Brook.

I originally started BME and know many people in the SB BME program. Based upon what I’ve heard from both Drexel and Stony BME students, Drexel may be a better choice.

Definitely go for Drexel; I would not recommend the sunysb bme program. 95% of the department is only focused on bone research and nothing else, and there are problems with their curriculum . I know: I’ve been there.

Haha, I’ve never thought about it before but you speak the truth, bones bones and more bones is all I ever hear from BME.
