SUNY Schools for Environmental Studies or Environmental Related Major?

Hi, I'm interested in attending a SUNY school but I'm debating where to attend. I'm interested in protecting the environment and becoming a sort of "acitivist" in addressing environmental issues and working on passing/regulating laws for sustainability, as well as being involved as an environmental scientist. So far, I'm really interested in SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry as well as SUNY Plattsburgh.
1. Which of the two is a better candidate for my interest?
2. What other SUNY schools are more centered in environmental majors? Stony Brook University, University of Buffalo, etc?
3. I'm a junior and I plan to graduate January 2015, one semester early. Will this hurt my chances of being admitted?
Background info:
- GPA of 90.64%
-NYS Resident so I will have completed all required credits by the end of this year (46.5 credits)
-ECs: previously part of Red Cross/Green Club, currently holding leadership position in MUN club
-Part of National Archon Society
-attending College Now STEM Research Academy Course, hoping to continue on its summer internship if I am eligible
- planning to hold a job (maybe Red Mango or Toys R Us lol)
-If I can remember, I have around 200 something community service credits, and I completed my school service credits
- BTW; since I plan on graduating early I can't take AP classes. I only have 1 so far (AP English). I feel that taking the available AP classes in my school won't help me much academically. If I stay, I might take AP Lit, AP Latin, and AP environmental science, but I'm done with my required courses, so what's the point? Also, having time for that one semester will help me obtain another internship that I'm really interested in while working, so it's like the best of both worlds
FYI: I'm taking my first SAT in June and retake in Nov/Dec.
This is my first post, I feel like I've rambled so much. I appreciate any responses and advice! :)

ESF is definitely the place to be if you’re sure about what you want to do. I don’t know much about programs at other SUNYs, but I do know someone who did it at Brockport and is now going to grad school for environmental science teaching.
