<p>Hi there! I'm looking at applying to be a musical theatre or acting major, and was wondering if anyone could provide any information on any of the theatre programs at the SUNY schools? I've heard good things about both SUNY Purchase and SUNY New Paltz.

<p>Musical Theatre programs: BFA @ Univer of Buffalo and Fredonia…BA @ Cortland & Geneseo…all excellent! You might want to find the MT forum for detailed discussions and of course check the schools and see a show!</p>
<p>In terms on acting, BA’s at Fredonia and Purhase.</p>
<p>Other schools…including New Paltz have acting programs that are good, but I think you need to determine the depth of the programs for yourself…see a show, interview the staff and instructors.</p>
