Super Bowl Menu?

I’m conflicted. I love skyline and graeter’s is just about the perfect meal. I do love the Bengals. And it looks like my Meijer has skyline in stock. Because it has to be skyline nothing I make myself.

But we, sad Detroit Lions fans that we are, will be rooting for Matthew Stafford.

It’s a conundrum.

My non-sports wife invited her father over for dinner.(She forgot the Super Bowl was Sunday) Good thing is he doesn’t drive at night, so dinner will be over well before kick-off.

That being said she is making homemade lasagna with homemade sauce.

I give you permission to eat In solidarity with one team but root for the other.

It has been impossible to buy cream cheese where we are, so no Buffalo Chicken dip for us. We’ll probably have nachos instead.

I’ve heard that before about the cream cheese but I have not had any issues here!

I hear you!!! I spent the worst 3 years of my (adult) life in Cincinnati. Graeter’s was my friend.

Black raspberry sounds yummy!

We just ordered pizza and chicken wings at our favorite pizza place. I have lots of lettuce from my garden to go with everything. Lemon pound cake also from lemons from our garden. It’s a no cook day for a party of 2 as always.

Good to know! One of the couples we’re celebrating with brought some.

We’re enjoying a long weekend skiing at Okemo so will be watching from our condo. Three couples and a couple of kids. We are making standard fare here: chili, hot dogs, nachos, Buffalo chicken dip, and onion dip

We are just having steak, salad and baked potatoes, and will eat before the game begins.

My husband will be jealous. I wasn’t making him any snacks but he made me feel guilty when my son FaceTimed and said he was going to have to make his own drink and snack. I pulled together a cara cara orange margarita and made him some guacamole.
We are having pizza for dinner which we have every Sunday.

@abasket Which Detroit bakery?

Sister Pie! Currently eating what I can nest describe as an Apple pie in the form of a Cinnamon Roll. Pie is in the refrigerator for later this week!

I love Sister Pie! Great place!
It is close to a school I was volunteering at before the pandemic, unfortunately not currently allowing volunteers.
