<p>I'd like the Giants to win because as a Mainer, I feel the moniker "New England" Patriots is a slap in the face to all of the people oppressed by centuries of Puritan Massachusetts rule. Furthermore, they were so smug last time they played in the Super Bowl (and lost)</p>

<p>As for the thread, I really don’t care about football. I’m much more partial to soccer. That said, I’m rooting for the Giants only because Tom Brady is sleeping with Giselle Bündchen which isn’t fair.</p>

<p>Not a fan of either team (everyone knows these two teams’ fanbases are just Yankee and Red Sox fans in winter attire, Gross!) but I must say I dislike the Giants less, so I was happy with the result.</p>
<p>Audi Vampires and Clint Eastwood/Chrysler at halftime were my favorite commercials. And, my god, what a bizarre halftime show…Cee Lo Green in those silvery ministers robes? Wha-?</p>
<p>Also, Wiskie-MSU games were meaningless up until the past few years in which the home team has always won. Sparty comes to Madison this fall, and I suspect I will be involved in the revelry one way or another…</p>

<p>I was really referring to this season’s games. They were pretty much as good as football gets.</p>
<p>As a Jets fan I was rooting for meteors to come out of the sky and fall in Indi. Since that didn’t happen, I was rooting against the Pats (I won’t say for the Giants). I did win $5 in a bet though…</p>

<p>Commercials for this SB weren’t as good as last year’s but there were still some entertaining ones. Did you guys see that Skyrim correctly predicted the game’s outcome? No? Oh, I guess that’s too nerdy for even this forum…</p>
<p>The commercials sucked. The Bridgestone football one was pretty good though.</p>
