super nervous penn state applicant question

<p>Do you guys think i should try to change my major from SMEAL to something easier? I really want to get into the university park campus and my numbers aren't overwhelming and I've been waiting since october:
3.25 GPA (Huge upward trend at top 10 HS in NJ)
1910 single session SAT
Good E.C's and essays
I applied for Finance Major.</p>

<p>Should i switch to another major and if so which...or is it too late...
I need to get into Penn State!!!</p>

<p>Well you have a good SAT which should make up for your gpa, but smeal is super competitive. I still think you have a good shot though. Although I think changes to your application had to be mad before Nov. 30, but I’m not 100% sure on that one. Did you check the optional summer start? That might help.</p>
