Super Nervous!! Please Chance!!

I'm going ED to Duke and its absolutely my favorite school and just want to know if I can expect some good news.

I have a 95.7 unweighted average with a weighted average of 99.1
this lets me graduate with summa cum lade (98+ weighted) only like 15-20 people for heaviest years.
I'm in the full IB diploma so my schedule stays extremely difficult (only AP I'm taking senior year is AP Calc BC and rest is IB classes)

33 composite on my ACT,31 english, 35 math, 34 science, 33 reading

I play 2 varsity sports, captain on 1 (3 years for that) and 2 years for the other. In addition I have summer and fall teams that take up another 8-10 hours a week.

Have had a summer job 2 years, worked in 2 springs as an umpire until sports didnt allow me to anymore, work with an organization that helps disabled children play baseball for 4 years-- a lot of my supplements will include this and briefly mentioned in my common app essay and its had a big imprint on me that I am trying to convey in my essays.

I'm a member of a few clubs, but no real leadership positions and often i cannot make meetings for that as i have sports that just conflict too much being 20 hours a week.

Member of NHS and foreign national honor society for spanish

My common app essay was about a condition that I was born with that occurs in 1 in 18,000 kids and how its really changed my outlook on life and a lot of things--- i had to make sure that it didn't sound like a sob story, because it wasn't at all just a real life changing thing for me as i got older (i think that could be something really interesting)

recommendations are good from both teachers, won awards in both classes

won book award for RPI (only top 10% can win, but we dont rank officially)

In terms of major, i'm undecided but i have interests in economics, psychology and possibly a pre-business/undergrad business school (mich/uva)

Thanks for the input! And other schools I'm applying to are:
Michigan, UVA, Binghamton (NY resident), Northwestern, Cornell, Lehigh, Vanderbilt, Penn (legacy at Penn)

anyone???

bing: Low match
Mich: Match
UVA: Match
NW: High match/low reach
Cornell: High match/low reach
Lehigh: Match
Penn: Reach(it is for most people)
Vandy: Match/High match

please chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1564465-penn-state-transfer.html

anyone else?? please!!!

You have a good chance at Duke ED, you’re a unique applicant with great stats.

Northwestern, Cornell, and Penn are reaches. The others you have a good shot at it.

Where is your home state?

I’m from NY

You should be a match for UMich LSA, low reach for Ross.

I really want to know where I stand for Duke. Any ideas for that? Or Northwestern, Penn, Cornell, UVA??

anyone???

Your academics are on par. Your ECs are solid too. I think you have a good shot at Duke ED and I would say that it is a low reach. Good luck! I hope to see you there next year!

please chance!!!

anyone???

For NU, you should be a low reach considering their acceptance rate.

anyone???

please chance

anyone???

You definitely have a good shot at Duke ED

anyone have anything???

I’m thinking Duke is a pretty good fit, probably a High match. NW and Cornell seem to me to be low reaches, Penn a high reach, Lehigh a match/high match, Vanderbilt a high match, and the rest matches.
