<p>Yes, both the student and the filing parent need separately applied for Fafsa Pins. This is not made clear on the FAFSA website imho.</p>
<p>They are entered at time of electronic filling, attesting to the truth of the document. Both parents financial info is needed however to complete the form.</p>
