How does it work? I know you take the average of your highest scores so do you just send both scores and the college will do it for you? I already sent my highest scores to my colleges and just found out about this so should i send my lower ones as well. I did better in reading my first time than my second time but I did well on everything else my 2nd time.

Bump!
I need to know this tonight!

Many colleges require all scores to be sent, no matter they superscore or not. You need to check the college admission webpage, which in most case, specify the requirement.

I believe if you have a school that will superscore they will need the tests that have your highest section scores. Check to see if your school requires all scores - not all schools do - and if not just send what they need for your superscore. If they need all sittings then send them all.

By the way, not many schools superscore the ACT, so double check that. Another thing to check is if they superscore for admittance and/or scholarships.

I agree with our2girls, not many places superscore ACT. But if you applying to a specific school in a college sometimes they will look at your highest subscore regardless of composite (i.e. engineering will look specifically for high math and science for placement sometimes) double check with admissions office of the college before you spend your money

Thanks guys I checked and apparently the entire csu system DOES super score the act

Guys I have question on this topics too. I am looking at top tier schools. I have taken the sat three times and the last two scores are the ones that I will be super scoring. The first one I don’t need at all and would love if it wasn’t there. So my question is do I have to show my colleges all my score or only the last two which
I will be super scoring

Poppykid - you have to check on each school individually. Some schools wand to see every SAT and/or ACT score for each sitting you’ve taken. Some only want to see the ones you send. Each school is different, so you have to verify what they want.

From what I understand, you only need to send the scores that you want to superscore. Since ACT offers score choice, how would the college/university you are applying to even know that there were scores you were not sending? ACT score reports are not like the SAT.

basically, some schools do superscore and some don’t but you need to check online for that. for the schools that do superscore, you just send the 2 sittings with the highest subscores that you would want superscored?
