"Super Scoring" the GRE

<p>If someone has taken the GRE more than once, do the schools "super score" -- that is, count the highest of each section? Or do they mainly care about how you did in one sitting?</p>

<p>I'm guessing the answer to this question is, It depends -- on the program, the school, the other factors in an applicant's application.</p>

<p>Does anyone know for sure?</p>

<p>Although it <em>probably</em> varies from institution to institution, I think Kaplan said that scores are usually “averaged” between tests.</p>
