Has anyone sent their kids to Supercamp at Stanford? We are looking for a summer camp for our 16 and 17 year old children who could use a boost in study skills, confidence and motivation. My husband has read too many bad reviews and feels the camp is more "touchy-feely" than academic.

<p>My very quiet, quirky son went to one of the Supercamps in southern California and also one in Colorado. He enjoyed it and DID get a lot out of it. He went to the one for high school students and also the college prep one for high school seniors in 2007.</p>
<p>I don’t remember the details, but I know that he developed some good social skills and confidence. Also, he learned some good tips for test taking, study skills, and focusing on teachers. We were surprised that he participated (and enjoyed) in the ‘touchy-feely’ sections, but he did. </p>
<p>We were very happy that he went.</p>
