Writing about how I have a strong sense of personal style and how I have developed this sense of style from a young age? And how the way I portray myself through clothing is important in my expression?

Is this topic way superficial? Boring? etc..

I wrote about a similar topic (my internship with a stylist for Boston Fashion Week). It’s all about how you spin it. I wrote about how my experience at BFW made me realize that I don’t actually want to work in the fashion industry and how it convinced me that I’m on the right path. (Journalism major.)

Can you find a similar way of spinning your story? Yes, writing about fashion and style can easily come off as superficial, but it CAN be done! PM me if you’d like to talk more. I would be happy to look over your essay for you.

hey! I was considering writing about a similar topic, but I ultimately decided to go with something a little bit quirkier, haha. I was going to discuss how I found something meaningful in an industry that is typically perceived as being wholly superficial. Also, I would not be hesitant to express the idea that you realize the superficiality of the fashion world. This will hopefully identify your ability to perceive what is meaningful, and not, so any doubt of this would be immediately swept away. If there is any way that you can bring an aspect like that into your essay, you should be fine. best of luck! :D
