can we put them on college apps? like if we were voted most likely to succeed or something??? LOL... my spanish teacher told me to...hmmm

I put my senior superlative on my app. I won best all around.

Hmmm...depends.

I'd try to tie it into an essay or rec...might seem 'puffy' to certain colleges/universities outherwise.

yeah i wouldn't just put it alone, that in an essay would be good though

What if you got voted best dancer and you have a lot of dance EC's? Would you put that in your awards? Or would it be better off in the essay?

well, if you got voted "most likely to never ever do anything with their life" then i would say no, you shouldnt put it on..lol
but if it says something good about you or embelishes something else on your application, then id say go for it!
- runner up for "Next American Idol"...i was mad...

my teacher said it showed i wasn't some arrogant punk that no one liked... and it showed i was likeable... something she put on my rec.... so blah

I just listed mine under Awards section of the college App or under the additional information section on the Common App. I think it shows that you are well liked if you win a superlative. I was deferred (happy..I thought I would be rejected) from Yale. I think little things like my essay, recs, and awards got me put into the deferred pile because my testing scores were not that great. But then again its college admissions so you never know.

I won "Most Argumentative". I didn't put it on mine.

My D who is a senior just won "Most Athletic." I don't know if it would make a difference or not because her accomplishments speak for themselves.

On the other hand, my D who is in her 2nd year of college had won "Party Girl" her senior year. She left it off her awards...
