Superman, Who saw it?

I saw it and thought it was great. I think the Superman franchise is alive and well after a 20+ year absence from the big screen. What do you guys think about the movie?
My rating soars high at 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I thought it was really great. Revived movies tend to get flamed a lot since there are always diehard fans of the last one. But wow, the guy can act. I'd give it a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Nice special effects too. =)

didn't see it, but i did go on the superman ride at six flags yesterday.

awesome :)

You do know superman is gay? right?

I want to see this movie it looks good. The first one with Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman was great too.

Superman is not gay. Superman is super cool. The outfit is a little gayish, but the man and the movies are far from gay. If you see Superman Returns, then you will know that Superman can’t be gay.

Superman is not gay. He is about life, liberty, and the American way, not life, liberty, and blowing other men.

I saw it a couple nights ago and was really impressed. Routh and Spacey were cast perfectly, and Bosworth as Lane wasn't bad either. It was long, but I never noticed while watching it, unlike during the Lord of the Rings movies...Singer did a fantastic job. 4.5/5 in my book.

Maybe I'm the only one. I wasn't that impressed. I thought the casting wasn't great. While Routh looks the part, he can't be more than 25 or so (and the same goes for Kate Bosworth). They seemed too young for the roles (not to mention Jimmy Olsen looked about 10 years older than Clark and Lois). Kevin Spacey was good, but he's always good. The story was okay, but at most I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

Bosworth does look a little young for her role years...interestingly, Routh is the same age as Reeve was when he played the part--he looked young, but they made him look big enough (as Kent) that it didn't really bother me.

I saw it a few months back and thought it was great...

Yea Christopher Reeve looks much bigger than that chap.

im actually gonna watch it tonight. it better ber worth the length

I saw it twice, it was pretty damn good.

well i didnt watch it, butttt i heard that superman had to go to the ER?

REaLLLY? wooow im tryna think about whether it could possibly be good. since when does superman have to go to the hospital?

but I didn't see it, its not my type of movie.

I thought it was an average movie. Decent action sequences, funny at times, but when Superman's greatest conflict throughout the movie is Lois Lane, I just can't rate it more than a C movie, and not worth the 8 bucks I spent on it. Then again, I didn't really like Superman all that much growing up, (though he was still a lot cooler in the cartoons than in this movie).

Lol yes, that ER scene. Hilarious. There are times when bullet proof skin isn't a plus.

It was good, definitely worth the $0.00 I paid for it.

i found it pretty good. the obnoxious 20 year old drunk guy behind us made the movie funnier. I can't believe in the hospital no one realizes that superman is clark. all he does is slick his hair back. I feel bad for the richard guy and everyone esp lois shoulda been dead on that plane scene

it was sooo good! i didnt think i was going to like it, but got forced into seeing it and it was awesome
