What do you have for local supermarkets??

We have Hannaford and Shaw's, and in the Portland area I've seen Z-Market.

a pointless but somehow illuminating new thread

Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, and apparently Stater Brothers

also Whole Foods and Trader Joes, if they really count

Zehrs, Walmart, Josephs, Food Basics, Price Chopper, Sobeys, Metro.

I think that’s it.

they have a whole foods in portland and a walmart here! look at how this continent is connected! are our lives really so different?

I was shocked to find out the Ralphs was a local brand only in California.

College: Kroger’s, Publix, Target
Home: Wal-Mart, County Market (imagine Wal-Mart just 200x as ghetto)

whoa Target sells food??? :O

Giant, Superfresh, Shoppers, Wegman’s, Mars, and maybe one or two Food Lions is all I can think of at the moment.

Guys, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s aren’t exactly supermarkets IMO. I think the OP is talking about food stores.

Walmart is where I am.

I know someone that used to live in Portland.

Yeah Target sells food fool.

Portland Maine? lol Portland, Oregon is for squares

Target having food changes my view of Target (which was vague, because I’ve never been to one)

Foodland, Sack-N-Save, Times, Safeway…that might be it. Whole Foods, I guess. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s.
We don’t have much food at Target or Wal-Mart. No produce and stuff.

I think someone (over the internet) thought I was making things up and trying to be funny when I said I was going to go get food at Foodland. =/
It’s a real store.
Now that I think of it, that was kind of funny.

Yeah, Portland, Maine. She lives in Florida now, though/

You’ve never been to Target?:/

lol Maine has a crisis of its “young people” leaving the state. They’ve poured a ton of money into public higher education

EDIT: lol the nearest one is 40 miles away. It’s not worth driving that far to go to target imo esp. with our new walmart supercenter

v I will make a point to follow your advice :b

You should go to one once you are in college.

Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, Pavillions, Gelsons, Trader Joes, Bristol Farms, Whole Foods

There are more (like Food4Less), but those are the ones my family shops at.

We have quite a bit.

Shaws, Stop and Shop, Market Basket, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Starmarket and a bunch of ethnic ones are all in the area.

Strangely, no Walmart.

target supermarkets have mad good snackage, it’s like, unbelieveable
