Hi sorry I've asked this questions in a couple other places/threads but it isn't really being addressed. I'm wondering whether I should use Superscore or Scorechoice when reporting my SATs to colleges. On my last SAT I got a 2300 (710 CR, 800 W, 790 M) and on my previous SAT I got a 2090 (720 CR, 700 W, 670 M).
For the really selective colleges, is it worth it to report the 2090 SAT to show a 720 (vs 710) CR? Even though it's just 10 points i feel like 720 is a whole different thing...
Oh also I have a math II score of 800 if that changes anything.
The more advice the merrier! Thanks

IMO, if you can use Score Choice, just send the 2300. But either way, it’s unlikely to change your admission results.

What do the rest of you guys think?

My opinion is, if you can use Score Choice, just send the 2300. But either way, it’s unlikely to change your admission results.

I had a similar problem, (2140 -> 1970 w/ +20 points in math), and supposedly colleges just superscore your tests right away and only consider those. So yeah I’m assuming they won’t really care if you submit both. Or at least I’m hoping lol.

I would say that if you can use Score Choice, just send the 2300. But either way, it’s unlikely to change your admission results.

Hi Etshine,

I’d vote for only sending the 2300 here to the schools who do not ask for all your scores. When schools DO request all your scores, go ahead and send them all, but if you have the option to only send what you want, just send the 2300. If your two scores were more similar, I’d say to send both for the extra 10 points, but in this case, I’d just hit em wham bam with that terrific 2300. (Congratulations by the way!) I’d look carefully at each school’s individual policy and do different things at different schools. At 90% of your schools, sending the top score would be the conclusion we would come to.
