Superscore?

I didn't really know much about superscores until only a few days ago, and so I'm curious if we can compile a list of colleges that take superscores.

Also, theoretically suppose a student gets the following scores on three tries:
C M W
800 500 500
500 800 500
500 500 800

Then, will colleges (those take superscores) actually be impressed since the superscore is 2400, or will they kind of not like it so much since the seperate scores are 1800 each? So basically what I am asking here is what is the degree to which a superscore is liked over the individual scores? Its kind of an awkward question, but I hope some of you can understand what I'm asking.

I asked the same question some weeks ago. The answer?

It all depends on the college. De facto sepArate scores are much more impressive.

Unforunately, a list of the colleges that superscore would be endless. There's no way no get them all. If you wondered about a specific college, the best thing to do is call or e-mail them and ask. :) Personally, I keep a chart that tells me for each college I am interested in whether a.) they count the writing section and b.) they superscore.

wanna type up ur chart?

Yeah, wanna? We'd really appreciate it. Please, pleeaase, pretty pleeeaaaase, with a sweet red cherry on top?

Well, I would be happy to, but I doubt anyone else on this board is interested in any of the same schools as me. Every school I'm applying to is tiny (less than 3,000 and down to about 1,000), conservative religous that no one's ever heard of- but, if there is anyone lurking who is interested in the Christian schools, let me know.

I'm interested in religous schools (for financial reasons, don't ask), so if you can send me a copy of your chart, please do so. You can email me: ny-junior@hotmail.com . Or just post it here for all to see.

I am looking at conservative religious schools, so that would be cool. I am sure there are a few more out there who are as well. I don't remember if it was you carpe, but does one of them happen to be Wheaton (religious one in Illinois, not the one in MA). I might be wrong in thinking it was you.

Thanks for letting me know. :) I didn't realise some others might be interested in these schools. Aodh, it is me who has Wheaton has a top choice (big reach). I am most glad to post my chart so far:

Taylor (IN)- DOES NOT take writing. DOES superscore.

Indiana Wesleyan- DOES NOT take writing. DOES NOT superscore.

Cedarville- DOES NOT take writing. DOES superscore.

Wheaton (IL)- DOES take writing. DOES superscore.

Houghton- (Pending answer on writing; I'll let you know.) DOES superscore.

Still pending answers: Palm Beach Atlantic; Southeastern

Great, thank you so much for taking the time out to help.

Thank you very much, saves me time that I might have spent emailing their admissions :). Kaplan has a list of schools that took or didn't take writing, but its unfortunately outdated I believe. Hopefully some list will show up somewhere listing how all the schools currently weight writing, since the kaplan survey was from right before the writing section came out I think.

Aodh, I think the Peterson's Arco series books might have that, at least that is the impression I have after reading their description on Amazon.

At first I thought your username was from a character in The Poisionwood Bible, which is a horrible book, not surprising since it's in the Oprah Book Club, but then I remembered the character's name was Adoh, I think.

I heard back from Palm Beach Atlantic: DOES NOT count writing. DOES superscore.

They had a student from the admissions office answer my e-mail. I thought that was a nice touch. :)

Southeastern- DOES superscore. DOES NOT take writing.
